Your details, handled with care
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what we collect through this website, why, who helps us process it, and how you can ask us to change or delete it. We collect only what we need to reply to you and do the work — and we don’t sell your data to anyone.
1. Who we are
Beacon is a service of DayLight Creative Technologies, LLC (“DayLight,” “we,” “us”), a Texas limited liability company based in Tyler, Texas, USA. This policy covers the website at beacon.daylightcreative.tech. We’re a US-based business and process information in the United States. Most of the people who contact us are acting on behalf of their own business.
2. What we collect
When you fill out a form on this site, we collect what you give us:
- Your name and email address (required, so we can reply);
- Your business name, website URL, and current host, if you share them;
- A description of what you’re seeing or how we can help, and any message you write.
Because the message field is free-form, please don’t include sensitive personal information— like government ID or financial-account numbers — in it. We only need your business contact details and enough about the problem to help. If a job later requires passwords or credentials, we’ll collect those separately through a secure, one-time-view channel (see How we protect it).
We use a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service (Plausible) to understand aggregate traffic — such as which pages are viewed and where visitors come from. It doesn’t set cookies, doesn’t collect personal information, and doesn’t track you across other sites or over time. Beyond that, we don’t run advertising trackers and don’t use cookies to profile you. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and request details) for security and reliability, and we use Cloudflare Turnstile on our forms to tell humans from bots — which, like any such check, may process technical signals from your browser for that purpose.
3. How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and talk with you about the services you asked about;
- To provide, and keep reasonable records of, any services you engage us for;
- To keep this site secure and prevent spam and abuse.
We don’t use what you send us for unrelated marketing without your say-so.
4. Who processes it for us
We use a small set of trusted service providers to run this site and handle your message. They process your information only to provide their service to us:
- Supabase — stores your form submission in our database (hosted in the United States).
- Resend — delivers an email to us alerting us to your inquiry.
- Cloudflare — provides the Turnstile spam/bot check on our forms, and our domain’s DNS.
- Vercel — hosts and serves this website.
- Plausible Analytics — measures aggregate, cookieless traffic statistics; receives no personal information about you.
If you become a paying customer, we’ll process payments through Stripe; we don’t store your full card details ourselves. We’ll update this policy before adding new ways of collecting or using your information.
5. We don’t sell your data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising. We disclose it only to the providers above, when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
6. Email
The only automated email tied to your submission is an internal alert to us that you got in touch. We won’t add you to a marketing list from a contact form. If we ever send you commercial email, it will identify us and include a way to opt out, and we’ll honor it.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your inquiry for as long as we need it to respond and to keep reasonable business records, then delete or anonymize it. You can ask us to delete it sooner (see below).
8. How we protect it
We take reasonable, sensible measures to protect the information we hold, and when a job requires your passwords or credentials, you send them through a secure, one-time-view channel — never by email. That said, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can’t promise absolute security.
9. Your choices & rights
Whatever state or country you’re in, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- Correct it if it’s wrong; or
- Delete it.
Just contact us and we’ll take care of it, and we won’t treat you differently for asking. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your local privacy laws; we’re happy to honor reasonable requests regardless.
10. Children
This site and our services are for businesses, not children. We don’t direct them to children and don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and revise the “last updated” date above. Material changes take effect when posted.
12. How to contact us
For any privacy question or request, reach us through our contact form— a real person, Steven or Andréa, will respond. Prefer another method? Ask in the form and we’ll arrange it.
